Polycaprolactone with Glass Beads for 3D Printing Filaments

چکیده

At present, 3D printing is experiencing a great boom. The demand for new materials also related to its expansion. This paper deals with manufacturing innovative polymer composite filaments suitable the Fused Filament Fabrication method in printing. As filler, common and uncostly glass beads were used mixed biocompatible biodegradable poly (ε-caprolactone), as matrix. material was characterized via several physical-chemical methods. Youngs modulus increasing by about 30% 20% loading of beads, simultaneously, brittleness elongations decreased. do not affect shore hardness filaments. rheological measurement confirmed stability range temperatures 75–120 °C. presented work aimed prepare lightweight biocompatible, cheap appropriate mechanical properties, lower temperature, good processing. We can assess that goal fully met, these could be wide applications.
